If you are new to meditation, please know that distracting thoughts may enter your mind while you are meditating. It happens to everyone, so don’t be frustrated. When you notice that you are in the midst of a distraction, be happy that you noticed and then return to the meditation by focusing on your breathing once again.

Another important thing to know is that different people “see” and “imagine” differently. Some “know”, some “feel”, some “visually experience”, others just see colors, some “hear” and some “sense” and some none of the above, so just open to the experience. It’s all good.

Meditation 2 - Uniting with Intention

Before you begin Meditation 2, I invite you to formulate an intention using only a positive, present tense format. Read over the intention or decisions that you want to work with. In this meditation I shall use the intention of having my cells create harmony and cooperation and good health within my body. You may add/ use any other intention you choose.

Guided Meditation 3: Che-mother-apy

Before you begin the meditation, it’s good to remember that chemotherapy – or che-mother-apy can be thought of as mother energy therapy and biological treatments can be thought of as life therapies (bio = life). Words reflect attitudes making the treatment a bit more palatable.  It is good to do this guided meditation before, during and/or after your treatment.

Guided Meditation 6: A personal prayer

You may use my wording, add to it, change it or make your own kind of personal prayer. This prayer is an expression of how you want your best self to feel.  It is a personal prayer that expresses what is felt and plants seeds expressing how you want your future you to feel and live your life. My prayer aims at releasing all that does not support my path to healing. My wording is in the here and now . . . in the present tense . . . like an affirmation or an intention.
I use this form consciously since the now is the only time that has the power of creation. You may prepare your own prayer and record it to guide yourself, or just read it to yourself.

Guided Meditation 7: Choosing life

Before undergoing a serious, life-threatening procedure, it’s a good idea to be totally present and aware of choices. As I learned through my experience of almost dying, sometimes our passion for life is at low tide. We may feel like what’s the use? Maybe I should just let go. This reality is not simple and it isn’t easy to look at.
This meditation focuses on the choice to live.  As you unify desires, thoughts . . . and feelings before a life threatening procedure . . . passion returns, focus returns, clarity returns. So let’s go for it!

Guided Meditation 10: Containing, reducing, erasing tumors

You may choose what you want to do with your tumor. Only what you are ready to release can be effected. I chose containment for my breast tumor . . . That seemed intuitively right for me. Make your intuitive choice or even do all the possibilities . . . Allowing your body-mind to decide.
